The "new" 9xx chipset is basically the same performance as the 8xx series. So this board has AM3+ but also has more features than the Asus. (8x/8x for Crossfire)

As for everything looks good.
This ram maybe a bit better, cheaper but also lower heatsinks which is good for heatsinks since the Ram fins usually interrupt Heatsink fans/fins. Also cheaper.

Ty for the recommendations...should have everything @ my door on Friday.Is there a good overclocking guide for this Mobo/Cpu combo?Not gonna push it that hard, but i def wanna squeeze all the extra horsepower i can out of it.
