Approximate Purchase Date: Next 2 weeks

Budget Range: $1000-$1500 (30% off final price)

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, watching movies, surfing the internet

Parts Not Required: Keyboard, mouse, monitor (I'll be using a Plasma tv for now then upgrading to a 3D capable one later) OS, I have a few HDs laying around too

Preferred Website for Parts: Tigerdirect

Country: US

Parts Preferences: None

Overclocking: Future (unless not needed)

SLI or Crossfire: Yes

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments: I've built PCs in the past but mostly for HTPC use never for gaming so help is apperciated. I have the Nvidia cards since I read that the 3D is better but not sure on this. I would also like to upgrade the fans in the case so I guess I need a splitter and some good choices on fan replacements. Here's the list I put together. Thanks for any and all help.

Your build looks good to me but with a few minor tweaks.

PSU: $130 PC Power & Cooling Silencer Mk II Power Supply - 950W - Much better and cheaper power supply for GTX 580 SLI.

GPU: $489 EVGA (AR) GeForce GTX 580 - a bit more expensive, but I'll take EVGA/Asus any day ahead of Sparkle/Zotac.

HSF: $30 Cooler Master Hyper 212+

The N520 is plenty good and it looks awesome. But if you're building it yourself, be warned. It'll be a proverbial nightmare trying to mount it in the first place. Not that the 212+ will be much better, but for whatever it's worth, it can't be half as bad I don't think - and what's more, it's cheaper :)
