Can you put two routers on one dsl line

Hello,
We have a barn that is quite a difference from the house and would like to add a router out there also, since all our animal sales are done from that point. We just have one phone line for the house and for the barn. Will it work?

  1. No, you'd need a second phone line. But that's probably not even necessary (and probably more expensive in the long run anyway). Instead, you can use a wireless repeater or range extending antenna to extend the range of your existing wireless router.
  2. By using our wonderful friend google, I came up with a few other threads on the same thing.

    Here is one: http://wireless.ittoolbox.com/groups/technical-functional/wireless-networks-l/one-dsl-line-with-two-routers-3414704

    and an eHow article: http://www.ehow.com/how_5815128_connect-routers-one-dsl-line.html

and here is an article somebody wrote about the subject: http://homenetworking01.info/2008/11/feature-article-multi-building-home-networks/

    good luck with it.
