Just got my system together booted up great during updates and driver installs. A window popped up saying my copy of windows might not be genuine, this was also during a bunch of windows updates. windows turned black {no normal desktop} reset and now im stuck on the ASROCK logo everything turns on keyboard, mouse, fans, leds, cd drive. Then it resets and keep cycling over and over. Ive hit the CMOS reset button and it will boot to the bios and then it will all happen again. Ive set it at default setting and even switched my HDD back in with the same results. On the mobo it gives me these numbers in sequence they are as follows:

4F 62 99 64 A2

Any help would be much appreciated! thank you

sounds like its a windows problem, most likely windows corrupted itself during an update making it unusable. try re-installing windows but try this first. try removing the power cord, remove the cmos battery for about 5 minutes while pressing the power button multiple times to completely discharge the system. after that put the cmos battery back in, and put plug the power cord back in. after doing that if it wont boot you may need a windows re-install

if that doesnt work you might have a failed component

I know that A2 code is listed as IDE detect in manual, but I remember reading somewhere that A2 code problem was resolved by reseating the graphics card and checking video cable connection (or replacing it).

Edit:
Another idea is to update the BIOS to the newest version. Maybe some stability issues were resolved?

yeah, wipe it. +1 for bios update
