Homebuild won't post, won't beep Tags: Motherboards Last response: December 21, 2012 10:36 PM in Motherboards Share Salva914 December 19, 2012 6:23:04 PM Hi All, I purchased a new build "bundle" consisting of: Asus M5A78L-M LX Plus socket AM3+ m/b AMD Phenom II X4 945 Kingston 4GB 1600 M 9-9-9 DDR x2 Seagate 1tb serial ata hd using integrated video vga no posts, no beeps followed the troubleshooting steps on this forum, no luck so far re-seated CPU re-seated mem removed mem re-checked wiring started m/b and hd outside the case still no post or beeps called Asus customer support; the tech person suggested I send the m/b back to the retailer I was wondering if there a way I can detect whether or not its a m/b issue? maybe bad CPU, mem?
