Whick psu is better

which one of these is better i didnt think about which one was better before cuz the ax is 80 plus gold certified and the tx is 80 plus silver certified so heres what i want 2 no
1 which one has the better performance
2 how much better (the one thats better) is than the 1 thats not better
3 (if the ax is better than the tx) is it worth 17$ more $ than the tx

sry i forgot to mention wattage (its 850w) why isnt 80 gold plus worth it??? dosent it mean it uses less energy???

No, not really. It is the reliability that a power supply can output at 100% load, i think you would only save a few bucks for an entire year if you had a pc on @100% load for 5 hours everyday by buying a gold rated psu over a silver rated one. Honestly I think you should get the corsair HX750w, it can out put 900w^^

The Corsair TX V2 and the Corsair AX 850 along with the XFX units are all made by seasonic. They're derivatives of the m12's (correct me) while the AX is near identical to the seasonic X series (one of the best).

If you want the absolute best and you got money to spend, look for the cheaper model between the Corsair AX and Seasonic X since they're nearly the same unit. If you don't or can't spend the dough for those awesome units, I'd go with the HX next, then the cheaper between the TX and XFX units.

As an alternate at the super-high-end, check out NZXT's HALE90 series. The OEM is Super Flower, for a change of pace :p
