Computer processor i3 concept

i have dual core 2.0 Ghz intel processor and motherboard mercury intel chipset and i want to change it to i3 processor......... so how can i do this at economically price
and what sh;ould i do for this

you'd need to buy the i3 and a motherboard and probably new ram.

why we have to purchase these things.can we not purchase only one i3 processor.......we already have 4GB of ram and dual core processor.....rply plzzzzzzz
