I'm a first time computer builder thinking of making a rig, and am uncertain of what GPU I should choose. I've reviewed the Best Graphics Cards For The Money: September 2011 on tomshardware

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-performance-radeon-geforce,3018.html

but am still unsure.

I am planning on doing some gaming, though I'm happy playing on low specs.

The card that I'm looking at very seriously is Galaxy 60XMH6HS3HMW GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) GC 768MB

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814162058

After the rebate it's $100 + $8 shipping.

Is there anything better than this for a similar price?

I probably won't SLI or Crossfire.

Not sure if I'll Overclock

My monitor is a pretty standard 19".

The computer that I'm proposing to build has

AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz $105

ASRock 880GMH/U3S3 AM3+/AM3 AMD 880G $84.50

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) $52

hec Zephyr MX 750 750W $65

HEC Blitz Black Steel Edition ATX Mid Tower Computer $42

Seagate Barracuda ST31000524AS 1TB $55

Thanks a lot guys

P.S. If you have any thoughts about the rest of the rig, I'm happy to have any suggestions.

Thanks for the offer Hezx, but I think I'm gonna buy everything new, just to make it easy on myself.

I might be wrong about this Ringelos, but I think that the mobo you suggested only supports AM3+ CPU socket, and my CPU is only an AM3, which may cause some problems.
