Would that have been a better deal?

My parts for my first build are already ordered and coming in a few days, but someone today showed me a barebones kit that he said was a much better deal (it had the same processor, Intel Core i5-2500K)

It comes with case w/ psu, motherboard, cpu, optical drive, hard drive, and memory for $440

The cost of my case, motherboard, cpu, optical drive, hard drive, and memory is ~$625.
(my parts are not a kit, they are separate)

I'm wondering how that kit compares with the parts I've ordered.

Kit: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1241992&Sku=B69-1367

Things of possible importance:
Motherboard:
No usb 3.0 or PCI slots
Micro ATX
Intel H61 chipset
NO sata 6.0gbs (only 3gbs)
Case's psu:
430 watts
no active pfc

My parts:
Motherboard: GA-Z68AP-D3
Standard ATX
2 x USB 3.0
2 x SATA 6.0Gb/s

Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM
SATA 6.0Gb/s

Memory: G.SKILL 8GB DDR3 1333
Dual Channel (2 x 4GB)

DVD drive: LITE-ON iHAS424-98 SATA

Would that kit have been a significantly better deal?

If it helps: I will be using my new computer for playing Skyrim.

Solution
Your build is much better than the kit's.

The H61 Mobo in the kit can't overclock the i5-2500k which defeat the purpose of it.
Not to mention, you will have a way higher quality case and PSU.

I only listed my parts that were the parts in the kit: case, psu, mobo, cpu, ram, hard drive, and dvd drive, so I didn't say my graphics card and stuff.

my graphics card is radeon hd 6850
