Greetings,

I'm building a new PC from scratch and I would like it if you could give me some suggestions on the motherboard that would work with the components I chose below.
I already chose some components:
PROCESSOR: Intel CPU LGA 1155 i5-3470, 3.20GHz/6MB B
GRAPHICS CARD: MSI HD7870 Twin Frozr OC AMD/ATI Graphics Card - 2GB

Also, should i buy 2x4GB or one piece of 8GB RAM memory (I heard 2 pieces is much faster because the memory is written on both of them simultaneously.

This is my first time building a PC.

EDIT: I forgot to write that my the PC in total should not be more than 700 euros. The motherboard should be around 60 euros.

Yes, buy 2x4GB ram 1600 mhz dual channel, as for the mobo, i cannot see a decent one for 60 euros.
A b75 or h77 one costs a bit more i'm sure, my recommendation :

B75 chipset : MSI B75MA-P45 or Asrock B75 PRO3-M

H77 chipset : Asrock h77M or Asrock H77 PRO4/MVP

They're the cheapest and with the best value.

This one sounds nice, will it work good with the processor and graphic card i chose?

For your cpu a b75 or h77 will do, the z75 is more for cheap boards for overclocking the cpu (i5-3570k), also the z75 is more expensive in europe.
What's your country ?

There're several amzon sites for europe.

I noticed in the feedback tab of the ASROCK H77M mobo it takes 30+ seconds to boot up on Win7. It's not a big deal though. I guess I will go for H77M then. Thanks! Also, it's a lot cheaper than the other one.

Ok, I decided. I will get the H77M AsRock. Thanks so much for helping me. This will mainly be a gaming computer so I want the games that will come soon to work good.

The only thing that I didn't choose is the box. Should I go for Cooler Master or Chiftec?

Case, also should I go for a case with integrated PSU or should I buy them separately? Is 600W enough?

You should and i recommend buying the psu and case separately, the ones that come with the cases, are always cheap, no good psus without quality, certifications, etc.
Cooler master has pretty cheap cases like the elite 430/431 or k280, k320/k350, but with good space/airflow for the money they're good.
As for the psu, i recommend going with a good brand like antec, xfx, corsair, seasonic(with 500w-600w).
E.g : The XFX 550w or corsair cx600w will do for your system.
