Dell latitude d600 vga driver download 2011

Hello,
I am trying to fix my dad's computer. On 9/16/11 there was an update that made the screen turn to high contrast. When we try and fix it, it says there's a VGA problem and that we need to download the driver. Proble is, we cant find a driver for it. HELP!!!

drivers for ATI/AMD mobile video cards are only provided by the laptop manufacturer since they customize them based on the display.

ATI/AMD will not provide any drivers.
