Annoying Ad Keeps Covering Screen

Is constantly producing a popup that covers the screen good advertising?

Or is it a way of ensuring that a casual visitor like myself never comes here again?

Career Builder ads that cover the entire screen keep popping up after I have closed them. Even poorly developed sites aren't that obnoxious. I don't expect that kind of thing when I come here.

I see now that it the two adds on the page were both "roll over" adds. Any time the cursor touched one of them, the nice full page add popped on the screen.

Just going to say that this is not good practice. Fortunately, the Opera browser allows me to block content.

Use google chrome and use ADblocker no more ads will appear.

Firefox also has an Adblock plug in.

^+1. AdBlock Plus + NoScript + Fire Fox stop a lot of cr@p. Including possible drive by downloads,ads,etc.

This is never a problem when I'm on my PC as I have AdBlock - but it stops me using TH from my phone.
