2-4pin=1-8pin

Ok so my psu is coolermaster 750 gx, the mb I got is a p55/80 which uses a 8 pin cpu connector. Will I be able to use the 2- 4 pin connector my psu has and use them to plug into the 8 pin mother board cpu connector?.
