The A6 5400 is a socket FM2 CPU - so any FM2 mobo'll work. For what you're doing, a Gigabyte GA-F2A75-D3H should do the trick. It fits that budget of yours at USD $100 and it's made by a reputable brand. It's the best around the $100 pricerange.

As an alternative, you could go with the ASUS F2A85-M. It's a good mATX board for light activities which is mainly what you plan to do. This retails for $99 USD aswell.

I advise you to stay away from Asrock FM2 boards - i've heard plenty of bad things about them.

Why don't you wait for the new Piledriver CPUs instead?

I want HDMI, looks like can't find ones for under 100 bucks though..
Intel is better in this regard.

Pile driver? LOL never heard of it outside wrestling LOL ... when are these due?
Im pretty happy with the trinity though..

also can't I get a F1 board? they are cheaper.. wont it fit with the A6 5400?

Fisrt you need to decide on which chipset you want.
Read this: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/AMD/FM2_APU_Review/2...

Then, you chose the cheapest mobo that has everything you want and comes from a respectable brand. If I may suggest, asrock are usually leaders in performance per dollar at almost any given price point

+1 for asrock leading in performance per dollar
dont wait on amd, thats never a good bet, the last 2 generations were mediocre
