My setup will consist of one Sapphire 7970 card and then I'll be looking in the future to crossfirex a pair of those cards. Also I will have a Intel Core i5 2500K CPU and with that a Asus or AsRock P8Z68-v Pro Gen3 motherboard. Also to take into consideration my ram will have tall heatsinks since I'm getting gaming ram either mushkin red series or vengeance ones..
Now all that considered here are the cases I would like rated best to worst based on best space to work with and airflow.. I'll also be adding extra 7200rpm fans into the case since I will be overclocking everything.

Corsair 600T SE White
HAF X 942
Coolmaster Storm Trooper
Coolmaster Storm Sniper Black (I believe it's CM anyway)
Antec Lanboy Air (mixed reviews on it so just throwing it out there)
With the Lanboy air your supposed to be able to create positive pressure inside case so no dust ever gets in.. Supposedly that is

Please keep in mind if i wanted the best "looking case" this list would be different.. Based off of airflow cable management and basically room to put everything I want and to be able to expand down the road without buying a new case.
Cheers

I can't comment on them all, but I think the 600T would be best due to build quality and features. The Lanboy looks good, but even if you can get the positive air pressure you need to keep dust out of it, you won't have any sound dampening for your fans.

Yes I've been narrowing down this list for over a week now and i'll be getting the case next week :) Great point on the lanboy air, I didn't even think about the sound dampening.. Though sound isnt a huge issue but with an overclocked system running a HD 7970 OC card, would sound like an airport in my bedroom :p I never even looked into the 650D at all. Never came up in previous posts i've viewed so i'll give it a look. By the way, +10 Design cases goes to XClio, if you have never seen or heard of this company I suggest you take a look. Ibelieve they are a newer company, but im looking to build something I know will work :)

I would also like to add a new case to be reviewed by the public here.. the XClio Blackhawk. Link provided below

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811103026

That case is terrible and grossly overpriced and XClio isn't even in the same league as tier1 case makers like Antec/CM/Corsair
It's overpriced and large side fans are gimmicky imo, especially on cases only 8.26" wide = drastically limit your cooler selection.
Helpful if you told us you're Canadian.

Yeah Canadian prices on the list above are as follows:
Corsair 600T white $165.99
Corsair Obsidian 650D $175.99
HAF x 942 $179.99
CoolerMaster Storm Trooper $189.99

I'm considering all but the HAF X.. Yeah the Xclio is more for eyecandy I guess, however I didn't realize all their cases were not as wide as these others..

As a fellow Canadian i do ya a favour!

Roar! I'm here to even out to debate (just to make it more difficult for you to decide) - go for the HAF X - thing built like a tank. It's roomy and feature-packed.

But to be fair, they're all very nice cases - you'll fall in love with it once you see it in front of you.

Why the need for 7200RPM fans? They'll be small and noisy.

And finally, I want to turn you to the dark side - watercooling (if you can fit it in your budget).

Actually there is no budget just trying my best to keep it under two grand with taxes.. At the momoment im sitting at about $1500-1600.. Watercooling is def in the budget, would I still get a corsair H80 CPU cooler if I was going to go with a watercooling setup? And I was somewhat curious why not one person recommends the Antec Twelve Hundred v3 case? Or was it because it wasn't in my list? Crappy thing about building your first comp is everything looks good in a box.. The antic twelve hundred v3 just caught my eye on newegg when I was looking at someones link from a reply :p By the way thank you all for the solid replies/info with no bickering heh my previous posts since I first found this site seems some people arenot open to others opinions.. I thank u again for being mature in your replies :)

CM Storm Trooper
HAF X
600t
CM Storm Sniper
Lanboy Air

The HAF is for cooling performance and the CM Storm Trooper is for everything else. Look at this review (a little long though)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0KTWM8Ftcw

Cases don't make a huge difference in cooling, maybe 1-4 C but that's it. The CM Storm Trooper has the option for either a intake for the whole case on the front or just the HDD. It has the greatest expandability out of all these cases;it can fit everything except those 2 socket mobos/ server mobos.

It has dust filters all around and it's a bit cheaper than the HAF X. It has a carrying handle and just looks a lot better (IMO) and better (bigger) cable grommets.

Water cooling eh? NZXT 810 can fit triple rads for the future (and the H80 obviously).

Antec cases are rubbish when it comes to high end cases nowadays. Antec is more of a budget friendly company (under $70) while their high end cases are mediocre.

^ The HAF X has rubber grommets but I agree that the Storm Trooper looks sleeker.

True watercooling will make the H80 its b@#$%. An OCed 7970 will be chilly. Just for reference, a custom loop for me (i5-2500K + GTX 570) was $430+, so cost is certainly substantial.

Ha ha! Antec cases rubbish now that's funny!
Outdated a tad,yes i agree.
But there is nothing rubbish about the build quality of the 300/900/902/1200 or the P series.
Built like tanks = hardly any plastic and the plastic that is used is high quality.
Included fans are also high quality!
Read plenty of complaints about Corsair fans though!
Antec has been around for 25yrs.
I'm still chuckling!

OK maybe I over exaggerated...
I agree Corsair fans are pretty bad but Antec doesn't include as many fans as them.

I have a 902 which is more or less identical to the 1200.
Cooling is excellent with the fans set to low(quiet too).
Great cases that had a small revision with V3 releases.
Added cpu-cut out and USB3.0 pass thru = sucks!
I linked the Eleven Hundred which is the new flagship case.
Personally i like.
Aesthetically it's kind of plain looking when compared to what you're considering.
I like CM cases,i own 2,but the HAF series looks ugly to me.
Great cases though you really can't fault them other then the lack of filters = maximizes airflow!
Best case reviews on the net imo!
http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/content/reviews/computer_cases/
Btw i can't stand cases with side windows that include a view of your hdd cage and OD's.
Something you won't find on an Antec/CM/Corsair =they do it right.
To further complicate your selection process have you looked at any Silverstone Ravens?

I can also add fans after if there's room like I said money isn't an option I'm buying parts at different times through the month so I won't start the build until I have everything which is why I'm saving mobo/CPU and GPU until last. Looks like storm trooper and 600T white seem to be the most popular picks and choices for an i5 build.. Other than HAF x.. I'm going to def go with something other than the HAF942 that I know for sure

The CM Storm Trooper by far. There's going to be a white version with a window coming out soon.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehfOWqph67I go to 5:35 and you'll see it. They don't show the window since the side panel is off but you can see all the white :]

The Silverstone APs were the top choice from this article
