On CPU Benchmark the laptop from the source is slightly higher grade than the laptop from futureshop. But thesource laptop has less ram and 1mb less cache L3. Is it still worth it to get the laptop from thesource because of slightly better processor grade and 128GB dedicated video memory? I am unsure if it is better to have more ram or 128GB dedicated memory/slightly better cpu processor, but not sure if i need the extra cache as i am not sure what that does for me. The laptop from the source has dedicated video memory/ the futureshop laptop does not. I hope you understand the above, and please help me out and explain, thanks. I just want laptop for steaming videos/youtube/age of empires 2, not demanding games. And utimately i just want the laptop that meats those needs best between the two, thanks.

The E350 is slower than the Intel i3-330UM (http://www.anandtech.com/show/4023/the-brazos-performance-preview-amd-e350-benchmarked/3) while the Intel B815 is significantly faster than that same i3-330UM. Last fall I bought a low-end laptop for my daughter and I didn't select the E350 because it was too slow.

http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=AMD+E-350 - CPU Mark = 727
http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Core+i3+330UM+%40+1.20GHz - CPU Mark = 1,208
http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_lookup.php?cpu=Intel+Celeron+B815+%40+1.60GHz - CPU Mark = 1,672

If I had to buy another low-end laptop, I'd also consider this one for it's faster CPU: http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/product/id/10191415.aspx?CMP=NLC-ALL-120217

hey guys I just bought the new acer laptop and deleted some files i didn't want like mcafee and some other things.
It turns out that this laptop i did this on was from a recent exchange from futureshop. So on the first laptop i bought yesterday i used 3 dvd's to backup to factory settings or something. And this time on the exchanged laptop today i deleted files first and am wondering how i can make those back up dvd's for this laptop? I made a dvd to back up something but it only took like 20seconds? So how can i back up on 3 dvd's again for this laptop and what did i backup in the 20 seconds??? Can someone help me, thanks. it is an acer aspire intel core i3-380m, the previous laptop was acer with pentium 6200 processor. Their was A POP UP LAST TIME AND THATS HOW I CREATED DVDS, THIS TIME I WENT TO BACKUP AND RESTSTOR ANDD I CREATED 1 DVD IN LIKE 20 SECONDS. AND AS I SAID BEFORE I HAVE DELETED SOME FILES THAT INTERFEAR WITH MY INTERNET PROVIDERS FIREWALL LIKE MCAFEE, AND SOME OTHER THINGS LIKE NORTON AND KODO. SO CAN I STILL MAKE BACKUP DVD'S SOPMEHOW, IF SO PLEASE TELL ME HOW, I DONT THINK IT CAN BE DONE IN BACKUP AND RESTORE, MAYBE FOR THIS LAPTOP THE 1 DISK WAS ALL I NEEDED, NO THAT DONT MAKE SENSE. PLEASE HELP.

Extra question above was solved, in a seperate question. And i gave u best answer because i actually exchanged the laptop i bought for the 1 u suggested, lol. But it wasnt because u said so, i saw it this morning on the website and was like, ohhhh h*ll no, lol. but i found it interesting that u found it and suggested it, thanks.

I get emails from Future Shop on a regular basis and I believe that this is a good laptop for the asking price.
