Msi z77a-gd65 No sound from rear.

Hello, I recently had to buy this motherboard after my previous PSU blew a capacitor and fried my old motherboard.

So I bought this board yesterday at Fry's and have install it properly.


However, when I plug in my speakers and mic to the rear panel, I have to turn my mic up to +30.0 DB to get any sound from it and I get 0 sound from the speakers.

However when I plug the speakers into the front panel of my case (haf 912) I get sound fine.


Anyone have an idea of what this could be?

did you check your realtek panel settings to see if the speaker are been detect ?
