Hi so after 4 years of service my EVGA 9800GTX is giving me artifacts. I would like to upgrade, but I'm on a ~$100 budget. I play at 1920x1080 and would like to play Starcraft 2 at high quality settings. Any suggestions? Thanks

At around $100 you are looking at cards that are either equal to, or at best slightly better than your 9800GTX. The Radeon HD 5770/6770 is a little bit faster than the 9800GTX and you should be able to find that at around $100. The GTX 550Ti is the nvidia equivalent, though it tends to be a little pricier than the 6770. For your resolution you might want to save some more money to get something a bit more powerful, something like a GTX 460 1GB or Radeon HD 6850. The 6850 is usually around $150, the GTX 460 can be found considerably cheaper, sometimes as low as $120, as stores are clearing out old inventory, though with such rock bottom prices, those cards are likely disappearing fast.

Also keep in mind that Starcraft 2's framerates do tend to be CPU bound if you have rather large battles, what CPU do you have? You might not get the greatest performance even with a higher end card if your CPU is on the slower side.
