Planning my first build, want to start buying by the end of the week. Not sure about the mobo or the graphics card. Any opinions on both of those? also i want a modular psu.
This is what i came up with

Case: Corsair Special Edition White Graphite Series 600T
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod[...] 6811139005

Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod[...] 6819115072

Mobo: ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 LGA 1155
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod[...] 6813157271

CPU Fan: Thermaltake Frio
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod[...] 6835106150

or
COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod[...] 6835103099

HDD: I think im just going to use a WD 500gb green drive until the prices of hard drives come down, already own the drive

SSD: Corsair Nova series 60gb that i already have
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod[...] 6820233188

Ram: The Corsair xms3 16gb that i have
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233190

PSU: CORSAIR Professional Series HX650 or if you have a better suggestion for a modular psu
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod[...] 6817139012

ODD: LG Black 12X BD-ROM
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod[...] 6827136232

GPU: Something that has an enclosure and is a little less than the 580
saw an msi 560Ti, is that decent?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod[...] 6814127608

I calculated a price of $1119.91 if i used the 560Ti so i could probably spend $100 more on a graphics card if needed. i dont really want to go over $1200

Thanks

Solution
The HX corsairs are really good psu's .

You dont even need 8 gig of RAM for a gamer so 16 gig is massive overkill and a waste of money .

The GTX 570 has good performance . So does the 560 ti and the Radeon 6950 . All work well at 1080p resolution .
