hardocp is down so... yes i read those forums. i like the black screen with lighter text thats pretty much the only reason. not too fond of the pubescent attitude of many of the members there, especially some of the moderating! you get get a lot of good info out of those guys but you have to weed through a lot of bs

they dont seem to like tomshardware much either, so i thought this might be a good forum to check out. depending on your greetings to me i will forever judge this place. j/k! just wanted to say hi, hope it becomes a 'thing'!

Whilst it has good info, the amount of hardcore trolls is pretty bad, maybe even worse than anandtech. Toms seems to avoid longterm trolls for some reason.

yeah theres a lot of posters there that know the answer to every question asked, and when they get pointed out to be wrong they either freak out with a bunch of wiki links or they simply dont respond as if they never saw that thread again. i dont really mind when someone has an opinion about something one way or the other, but when caught to be spreading misinformation it really bugs me when they dont man up and admit their mistake.
