GeForce GTX 580 or HD6950 Crossfire?

I'm not too sure which would be better performance wise...

Can someone help me out.

I was considering 6950 crossfire until I heard about some issues with particular games...

The 6950 xfire beats the 580 but sometimes you may un into scaling issues like when witcher 2 came out and was unplayable until a patch and same with crysis 2. In terms of raw performance the 6950x2 def bests the 580

Thanks, oh so they release patches if people are having trouble with crossfire compatibility on a certain game?

The patches are totally up to the game developer to release, but yes, if the community speaks out and makes an issue like compatibility known as they all do, then the developer will most likely patch the issue
