Does ati radeon 4000 supports am3 motherboard

i am using AM3 mother Board on my computer....
processor: amd sympron 145 processor(tm) (2.80Ghz)
OS: Windows 7Ultimate 64bit,

am asking about does AM3 Mother Boards supports ATI Radeon 4000 and later Graphic drivers......
present am using ATI Radeon 2100 graphic driver......

it should work... Is it a graphic card or a driver, dont really understand but works either way lol...
