Direct connect two 10G SFP+ ports?

in order to save the cost of fibre switch, could we connect 10G SFP+ port of a server and 10 SFP+ port of another storage server directly?

pls provide more info about this direct attach SFP+ passive cable and where to buy it.

i thought to use two SFP+to-LC converters and a crossed LC cable. that would be more expensive.

i have searched the internet and found that there is SFP+ direct attach copper cable. is it the one you have used.

do we need to cross send/receive signal?

pls advise. i have no experience in fibre networking.

i tried it before, you may go sfpcables to have a check, they can help to slove it. remember order form the site, it is more cheap with discount. hope it can help.
 

Don't you think eight years are more than enough for OP to solve his/her issue?
Not worth to just promote some ecomm site...
