Alpine black psu doubts

Hello .

I'm questioning my current psu after I had a surge on my computer yesterday(It turned of randomly) .

Its supposedly a 650 watt psu so it would be able to handle my components ?

Granted I was using the computer without surge protector / plug (It arrives tommorow) but was it my psu or that ?

Luckily my motherboard has a anti-surge mechanism .

might be 650w but its cheap and nasty

get a corsair,silverstone,seasonic etc
