Best motherboard for Core i7-990X Processor ?

i want new motherboard for my Intel® Core i7-990X Processor Extreme Edition

so , is there agood new motherboard work with this processor ?



my hardware is :

680GTX

16gb ram

windows 7 64

But does the CPU still work? The boards seem expensive. I would choose a Z77 board and a new CPU.

I guess you have to expect to pay a hefty price for a motherboard for a $1000+ CPU.

So I have to change the processor also ? It cost me about 1000$ in 2011




The motherboard I already have is rampage extreme 3 from asus and I have to change it because some problems and it was cost me about 400$ .




I just want motherboard work with my processor even from 2011 . Any advice ?

The board will work fine, the 1366 socket is for your series of processor, and the X58 is an enthusiast chipset.

You just won't have those extra slots for a giant motherboard capable of something such as Three-Way SLI. Which isn't a problem for you.

That board will work perfectly fine with the I7-990x.
