hello all,
i have just purchased in an amd 960ti processor along with an msi 880 e45mother board. i have read before that there is also a very high chance that you can unlock those processors to to have 6 cores. so i went along with it, later i inserted the msi mobo cd and installed some software that unlocks the 2 cores. After running the program, everything seem to be fines and all 6 cores are functioning properly but when i enter the task manager and the unlocking software. they all shows that the 5th and 6th cores are very dis-balanced ( jumping from 4% to 80%) and the rest of the cores are somewhat unstable to (4-20%). and another thing i noticed is that the cpu begins to get very hot, both by feel and by software (gained 10C in 30min, turned off before it reached 50C)
so the bottom line is: how do i disable/reverse the two unlocked cores to the original state ( 4 cores) ?
