AMD/MSI AMD 2.8 GHz AM3 Sempron 145 Processor and MSI 760GM-P21 (FX) Mot Combo M

Hello,

i want to make my assemble PC I've got a repair guy and i have a cabinet,and a hard disk
some of the details of hard disk are as follows printed on it's back cover
Seagate Barracudda 7200.12 250 GB
Serial:ATA
do can i connect this hard disk to the combo motherboard
it was previously connected to other motherboard(dont know it's chipset)
and does the combo motherboard above mentioned has a 16 gb ram already in it or it has a capacity to hold 16 gb reply soon

The mobo has the capacity to holdup to 16GB. The hhd connect to the mobo with a sata cble that will come with the mobo and power comes from a sata connecter from the psu.

and one more help will it support dvd writer which has old ribbon kind of thing to connect
and if not can it be connected by some kind of ribbon to usb or ribbon to sata converter

You'll have to buy an new sata optical drive. Optical drives are not too expensive.
