Visiontek 6950 2gb power connections

Just bought a visiontek 6950 2gb card and have a 700 w psu. The problem I have is my psu has only 1 6 pin pci connector but the card requires 2 6 pin connector. I do have a 6 +2 pin pci connector as well. Can I connect the 6 pin and the 6+2 pin leaving the extra 2 pin unconnected? Or should I use the 6 pin to molex connector I got with the card?

You can connect that 6+2 connector and just leave that 2 piece unconnected. That's what it's there for! : )

You'll be just fine.
