ASUS P8Z77 BIOS Troubleshoot

Hello,

I have recently built a new PC from scratch using a ASUS P8Z77 motherboard, a Kingston SSD and a Western Digital hard drive. Having experienced difficulty installing Windows I erroniously changed the SATA type to RAID in the BIOS. Now when I attempt to boot my machine I am no longer able to access the BIOS and am instead taken to a screen where I can create a RAID partition. Would it be possible for anyone to let me know how I can circumvent this RAID screen so I can re-access the BIOS and change the SATA type back to AHCI?

Thanks in advance for your help and of you would like any further clarification please don't hesitate to ask.

Kind regards,
Sam

I would power down, unplug the power supply, and remove the motherboard battery for one minute. Then reinstall the battery and power up. Then go into the bios and reset the sata to achi, boot order and calibrate the smartfan setting; you may notice high fan speeds when you first power up; re-calibrating the smartfan should lower fan speeds.
