Now that, I am not sure of...one of the best things about Newegg is their free shipping to the US, so if I were you I would go price shopping locally, then check on Newegg and see how much the shipping will be to South Africa. (or if they will ship there at all)

Newegg doesn't ship to South Africa. The thing I'd be worried about with ordering a system from here is the power requirements and video formats (we use NTSC as opposed to PAL). If you have any relatives here - you could always order everything but the PSU and video card, have them ship them to you, and then get the those parts from a local supplier.

Your build looks pretty decent but the Maximus IV-Gene is a micro ATX motherboard - go with a full ATX motherboard instead. The Zalman case is pretty decent as well, but if you want case suggestions try the Cooler Master HAF 912 or Corsair Carbide.

The Gene-Z was made for OCing. You want good cooling. For air I would look at Noctua. But having the Gene-Z board myself with the 2500K, I am realy digging my Corsair H100 cooler. After looking at your case the H80 would be a better fit should you want to go liquid cooling the easy way.

Looking at that case you picked may lead to some space issues. Very Narrow case...tough call for large air cooling...good cpu heatsinks require alot of space.

For PSU....your gonna SLI and OC...you may want to look at at least a 650w if not a 750w....

Interesting. I'm toying with the idea of swapping my Silver Arrow for an H100 - good to know it's a good cooler.

See now that rig in South Africa will cost more that R13000 which is $1625. Amazon only allows me to buy the CPU and Graphics Card from them. Locally, motherboards are damn expensive. The Asus Maximus Gene Z goes for $300 here, retail shops sells it for $350. Since Amazon nor Newegg ships motherboards, I'm stuck with terribly overpriced local suppliers

Ouch, I guess we should be lucky that we have Newegg.

Although you could also try Tiger Direct - I think their parent company SYX has outlets all over the world, maybe check them out.

Yeah that is very unfortunate, I really do feel for you computer enthusiasts who dont live in the United States simply because of that fact...im sure it makes it a lot more difficult , but I wish you lots of luck...hopefully one of these other people's suggestions will work for you so you can put together this nice rig you have outlined!
