D-link n150 driver wont connect to internet

i have a d-link dwa-525 wireless N 150 desktop PCI adapter, itry connecting to my network, i put the password in, and i get a windows message saying can not connect to network???

What do i do??

i am running windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit, amd athlonII x2 225 processor, 2.00gb ram, nvidia geforce 8800 GTS

  1. It is probably the security settings in your router that are blocking your access, basically you will have to edit those settings. Some guides at the top of this section http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/forum-18.html
  2. Could you say more details about "your network"? Is this your home router we are talking about? What type?

    It can be so many things, Microsoft even made a page with this title:

    You say that it asks for password, and it is accepted. This means to me that the connection between your computer and the router is successfully established.

    You should check if your network interface gets an ip address from your router by starting a command line window and typing:

    ipconfig /all
  3. Put in the right password would be my first guess.
    Second guess would be your too far away, signal strength only showing 1 or 2 bars.
    Last guess would be rf interference.
