I'm looking to buy this pre-built for video editing. PremierePro 5 or 6.

The cpu and gpu pairing are #17 on the PPBM5 (benchmarks). I'm pretty excited about this.

However, I have researched the motherboard and there are some awful reviews. Should I be concerned?

I've heard good things about that motherboard and MSI don't usually make bad kit anyway, I think that will be a fairly solid motherboard for your setup.
