I have a maximum of 2300EUR to spend on a laptop. I want to be able to play some games but obviously don't expect the best performance.. can anyone recommend a good laptop that might meet these requirments. N.B. I'm in germany.

Eesh! 2300 EUR is like 2200 US Dollars! That's a lot of cash, and should net you some high quality lap topping! I personally got to play around with a Toshiba Satellite (6105, I think) just recently, and I was able to play some of the just-released 3D games on it with almost no slow down, and all effects at maximum. This ranks the top high-end laptops, as well as the top bang for the buck. It's all their opinion, of course, but seems to be pretty helpful.
