hello all,
Do I need to check the QVL list when buying ram for an ASUS V LK MOBO...
I know the MOBO supports 1600 RAM but when I checked the RAM on sale for boxing day... i.e.:
it isn't listed on the VQL (Vendor Qualified List)...
Price: $35

CML8GX3M2A1600C9
or
Price: $30
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3683257&srkey=K24-2219&cm_mmc=Adv-_-Wishabi-_-Flyer-_-Next%20Gen%20Flyer
if the above works.. then I guess the QVL list on the ASUS website sucks...
Any other recommendations for RAM would be great (NCIX, Canada Computers, TigerDirect - Boxing Day specials)
and Happy holidays
