i dug out my old computer a few days ago, plugged it all in and fired it up, to my surprise it all works brilliantly.
however i noticed the temps were pretty high compared to my other computer.
my CPU is:
x86 Family 15 Model 4 Stepping 9 GenuineIntel pentium 4 ~3186 Mhz Codename Prescott
the temps at idle are 45-47C, under some load, watching movies / browsing the CPU can hit 60C and finally under extreme load ( crysis 2, i know silly me but wanted to try it ) the cpu hit 70C
now to a general user that temperature is pretty hot!
this PC is using stock cooler and is pretty old, to my understanding roughly five years old.
are these temperatures alarmingly hot?
any help with be appreciated and thanks in advance!
