Does your mobo need two VGA ports to use 2 monitors?

hi chris there a few ways to set up muilt monitors on todays pc. the simple way is using a reg video card. most ati and nvidia video cards will do two monitors on the white dvi ports. using the gpu you could play a game on ether screen. if your doing a low cost build and using ati cpu with the video built into the gpu you have to look at the mb info. most mb will do two ports. most time it the dvi port and using an hdim cable. to do digital for both ports. vga is older analog monitors.
also look to see if you want to set the monitors up as extended screen or clone.
