I have just installed Dead Island on my computer and have quite a bit of fps problems. I can't give an exact number on the fps scale because I don't know where to find an fps reader on the game, but it is certainly lower than I would expect. all of the cutscenes and loading screens are fine, but once gameplay is initiated, the fps goes to ***. Here's what I have system wise:

-NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS
-64-bit Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2
-Pentium DualCore E5300@2.60ghz
-6.00 GB RAM

Any help?

EHEM. minimum system requirements for dead island( and those are usually understated):

Dead Island Minimum System Requirements

OS: Windows XP / Windows Vista / Windows 7

CPU: Intel Core2Duo 2.66 GHz

RAM: 1 GB Memory

GFX: Nvidia GeForce 8600GT or ATI 2600XT 512MB

DX: DirectX 9.0C

HDD: 2.0 GB free hard drive space

Other: mouse and keyboard

So on your system it'd probably still lag even at minimum setting, plus it being a crappy coded console port makes it even worse.

Time to upgrade!
