Gateway dx4860-ef31p issues

Hello,
Is there a limit to the power supply I can put in this kind of Gateway? I'm trying to install an 850 Watt but I'm running into problems. Any thoughts?

First Off, You Need To Be More Specific On Your Problems And The Specs And Model Of The Gateway (Or At-Least Just The Specs) Then We MAY Be Able To Help You.

Im pretty sure if its the EF31P model of the DX4860 series then his specs are 2320 core i5 3ghz and 6gb ddr3 installed ram 1333 frequency I think and a 1.5tb hard drive. It comes with the nvidia geforce gt520 1gb vid card and a American Megatrend motherboard. I hope this helps when giving your answer cause I too have this model and I am wondering about a power supply upgrade myself and I dont want to run into any problems

No, There Is No Limit Other Than What You Want To Spend,. Just Make Sure It Good Quality With Active PFC (A Must)
