I am running a hp pavilion g6 laptop dual boot with windows 7 ultimate with service pack 1, & linux mint 12. I have a alfa awus036h wifi dongle that I am having some difficulties operating in the windows enviroment. The card looks like it is installed properly. Drivers are recognized in device manager, able to scan and connect to networks (intermittently).

The card seems to have a hard time resolving the DNS address. When I connect to the network it doesn't seem to be able to resolve the gateway address or when it does, I don't seem to be able to navigate any websites. I click on the windows troubleshooting option and it kicks me back some crap about how the ip addresses are not right. Here is an ipconfig I ran when I was connected and everything looked like it was set right to work.

I disabled ipv6 on this connection. Here is some more cmd output. As far as I can tell I have a stable connection to the Access point and supposedly to the internet via that access point. But as the results from the ping command will show, thats just not the case.
