Upgrade Options for a gateway dx4822-1

Hello,
I am looking for some suggestions.
Here is where I am so far, just trying to squeeze a little more outta this system for my game play (WoW) and learn a little in the process without a big capital investment.

Corsair CMPSU-500CXV2 Builder Series™ CX500 Power Supply - 500W, 80 Plus, 120mm Fan, Single +12V Rail, Active PFC

MSI R5770 HAWK Radeon HD 5770 Video Card - 1GB GDDR5, PCI-Express 2.0, CrossFireX Ready, DVI, Display Port, HDMI

Questions:
Can this system utilize faster memory?
Can I upgrage the processor while keeping the existing g43 mothorboard chipset?

your graphics card and power supply are more than enough for wow. Even a fairly basic CPU with that graphics card is more than enough.

You might not even need to upgrade your powersupply; if you look at the side of your existing PSU it should say how many watts it is.

Depending on the wattage, unless it doesn't have the correct power cable you might not need to upgrade anything but the GPU.


PS: As for the faster memory and CPU question I need your motherboards model number not just the chipset series.
