Ok but what realy matters is the CPU + Mobo price, yes? so tell us the budget for both and we can help properly. Scrimping on mobo features that you may not need can get you a much much better cpu that will last for a lot longer.
  6. Oh and just to set your expectations some games you will not be able to run at ultra on that GPU. Depending on your resolution of course.

Around 160 dollars for mobo. So mobo + cpu 360 dollars.

For ram i would like to get g.skill 8 gigs. i dont have them yet, i only need to know a good gaming cpu that can run games well
  9. should be able to get a z68 board and an i5-2500K for that, maybe with change.

Any features you really need? wifi?
  10. the i5 2500k is outdated now...you'd buy i5 3570k which is the modified 2500k with ivy bridge & more clock etc..

Well, the limiting factor in most games is the graphics card and the resolution you play at, as well as what game you are playing.

If you plan on play something like Metro 2033 on Ultra settings @ 1920x1080 resolution, then I don't care if you have an i5-3570k @ 4.4GHz or @ 20GHz, your GTX 560 Ti will be holding you back.
