hello, I have a pentium d duo core 2.8 ghz cpu and i am capable of upgrading it to a 3.2 ghz duo core. is it worth it and will i see a difference while using heavy software.

If you think 400mhz is going to do much for you I have some swamp land in Florida for ya; it will be prime realestate once they drain Florida.
Save your money to upgrade your system. CPU, Motherboard, and ram.

there really would be two reasons to do it (at LITTLE or no cost, including the thermal paste used):
1. to tinker with your box.
2. to be over the 3 ghz cpu speed.
