Pavilion dv7 crap out

Hello,
Has anyone had any satisfaction from HP or Best Buy on a Pavillion
dv 7, 5 months past warranty (17 m0nths old),which first went black screen then failed to boot up or know of an on going class action concerning this problem

Could be the HD or the GPU.

What are your full system specs?(CPU,RAM,etc.)

Specifically,I have a Pavillion dv7 3165dx with a AMD Turion II dual core processor 2.5 GHz,4096MB sdramm.

I have already been to a repair guy who has told me the video chip is shot.So thanks for your interest and back to my original question!

If the repair man said it's shot then you need a new motherboard.But with a CPU like a Turion I would suggest upgrading everything.
