Hey! I am new to the forum. I am going to build my first computer and I've got an Intel Core 2 Duo E6400, and I am stuck between:

MSI G41M-P28 - http://uk.msi.com/product/mb/G41M-P28.html

ASRock G41M-VS3 - http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?model=g41m-vs3

Does anyone have any recommendations? Which one should I get?

Thanks,
Arthur

Both boards are nearly similar in features and capabilities. The MSI board does have a 2nd sys fan header if that is important to you. I've had good luck with both manufacturer's low-end boards when building budget PCs. Assuming you don't get a DOA board, either should make a good budget gamer with a mid-range card.

A long-ish 2-slot wide graphic card will cover two of your SATA headers on the MSI board, if that matters. For that reason alone, I would probably opt for the AsRock.

Oh thank you so much. I will go for the ASRock. It has good reviews on Amazon, too.
