Motherboard compatible with i3?

I hope you all had a Merry Christmas!

I ordered an MSI Z68MA-G43 Motherboard and a Xigmatek Asgard case to go with it and some RipJawX 8gb 1600MHz DDR3 Memory!
I heard that some motherboard's aren't compatible with some CPU's. I have an Intel i3-2120 processor - Until I get a new one. I'm not sure if it will work with the MSI Z68MA-G43 motherboard , any idea's if it would?
