My friend says she added text next to the "Turn off
Computer" button on the welcome screen. How can this be
changed or edited?

Yes, you can pull apart logonui.exe with something like ResHacker and
recompile it with changes to the text.


Tinkering with system files is not recommended, though. You can end up not
being able to get into Windows quite easily that way.
