Got a solution for you. I installed software from
http://www.novamedia.de/e_pages/e_ [...] m_mhs.html last night and
it works perfectly. After several syncs, phones calls initiated from
the PDA within Data Viz contacts, BT transfers between my Zire 72 (OS
5.2.8) and my Moto V551 including photos, calendar events, etc.
Continues to connect w/o issue.

I have Cingular GPRS service but when loading the software (Moto
V551 driver included) you have to select "Cingular WGPRS." I made no
modifications to the preloaded settings made by the program. I
included my email exchange with the service rep below. You can try the
software for 30 days or 15 connections for free. I plan on buying it
for 20 bucks.

OBTW, they responded within 4 hours of my email... Guess PALM Inc.
should learn from their example:-)

Good luck,

Hello,

We have several Cingular customers who are having login problems. We
are not sure what settings Cingular has changed.

If you have a special WAP-GPRS subscription, please try to use the
"Cingular WGPRS" network setting and re-write the settings with the
Activate button. Usually this solves the problem.

This is only a minor bug; we will correct that soon.

Kind regards,
Alexander Lange.
