Hello,

As you can tell by the title, I am trying to engage in building my own gaming computer (primarily for Diablo III). However, i know nothing about computers, so I will need help picking out my parts, and all of the other knitty-gritty aspects. My budget for my computer is going to be $1000.00, and I would like for Diablo to run on max settings, and be a great gaming computer that will last me a few years to come. Remember, I'm extremely new to this, don't know what I'm talking about/looking for, so that's why I've come to you guys to help me out to pick the parts that will give me that great gaming experience that I am looking for. :wahoo:

Thank you guys so much for your help!! :hello:

I was extremely new to this like 4 weeks ago as well. But I did a lot of reading and I was able to pick my parts simply from reading the advice that was given by others here on the forum.

I would not count on the manuals that come with the parts as some of them may not be clear and obvious to a first-time builder.

I watched this 3-part tutorial from Newegg and felt like I learned a lot (parts 2 and 3 in description:

I'd suggest watching the series a few times over.

The "years to come" part gives me trouble with your $1000 budget limit .... well that and the floods in Thailand which add $100 to the HD price.
