i just tried to put a 1066 2gb module into my computer that had 1333gddr3 1gb modules, and all i got with either new module in either slot was a continous bios beep. the motherboard is a g41t-ad. any ideas?

i have looked online and the specs say that the board is ddr3 with a max of 4gb ram. with 1333/1066/800 Mhz compatible

Matching slots need to have matching memory modules. I believe your board only has 2 slots, so they have to both be 1066 or 1333. Preferably the same size, voltage, and timing. And the correct term is DDR for system RAM, not GDDR. GDDR is the term used for graphic card memory.

gu512303ep0202 is the number on my one module and it says gddr3 on the tags, and the old are 1333 and I have 1066 to replace them both with but neither works in the slots, like I mentioned it causes the bios to beep continuously and the system doesn't even get to the post screen
