TRIPLE CHANNEL?????

I'm at the point where 6gb of ram isn't cutting it anymore. Nothing is really available in triple channel kits anymore so i don't what to get. I play modern games, benchmark, and use CAD programs such as SolidWorks in which I render images and video. Any ideas?

Either buy a 12gb kit like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231358 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820104127 or buy a new cpu/motherboard/ram. Buying the ram now is certainly cheaper, but triple channel seems dead.

Honestly, with the dual 670's, you're better off throwing a 3570k in a new set-up. Pick a z77 motherboard and either 8 or 16gb's of ram in a dual channel setup and call it good for a year.

Im not ready to give up on my x58 system yet haha, so RAM it is.... Im pretty sure I only really need 12gb i just wanna get the fastest most overclockable stuff I can find.

the difference between 2000 and 1866 is 1%-2% so instead of waiting 100 seconds you will wait 98 seconds for a render or whatever....
